First project chosen - Happy Baby Yoga Pants. These pants are supposed to fit a 9-12 month old. I'd been thinking I ought to make these first for my 11.5 month old before he outgrows them (another problem for procrastinating crafters). He has just gone for his (usually) 1.5 hour nap and we're off to a 1st birthday party in 2.5 hours - can I finish the pants as a birthday present??? Here I have neatly arrayed all the called-for materials in an attempt to overcome the chaos factor of the rest of the room. The blue checked fabric is a woven cotton I bought as a souvenir in Malaysia 10 years ago. It has served occasionally as a picnic table cloth since then.
Matching bento set
Matching bento set
My matching set :) I actually made the bag, table cloth, and napkin first before I ever bought the bento box. It just so happened that they matched! The chopsticks were also a coincidence. The bag was machine stitched and includes hand embroidery. It 's like a small tote bag, but has a drawstring at the top so you can close it. Very roomy - I can fit lots of food in it :)
