I’ve attached pictures of the boxes that the girls from Girl Scouts of Northern California, Brownie troop #61520 created for the Hispanic Women in Leadership event. The boxes are filled with Girl Scout chocolate candies and cookies and will be used as decorations for the tables. It took the girls four hours to complete several boxes that were made of milk cartons, colored construction paper, cut-out pictures of Dolores Huerta, stickers, lace, ribbons, sequins, colored tape, and labels. The girls learned about Dolores Huerta and loved completing this project while earning their Dolores Huerta Patch. Thanks to Crafty Chica, the girls learned to make Reverse-Painted Boxes and Fiesta Placemats which will be displayed at our event. Marisol Morales Girl Scouts of Northern California

anya's fiesta ware water bowl and yellow sunflower food dish (the sunflower is there, under the super expensive cat food from the vet!). her placemat is from beans & barley in Milwaukee. she's spoiled... and i like my kitchen to match. ;)
