Want to take you baby dolls with you but have nothing for them to sit in, just like a real baby your dolls can sit in these vintage doll carriers from Reliable Canada. Made from white plastic the seats are 9” long by 4 1/8” wide, one has a bracket on the back that will fit over a chair back when open or act as a back support when closed. There is a pink restraining strap with half ball decoration on the front. The second seat has no back bracket and the third has neither a bracket nor front strap. All are marked Reliable along the top of the seat. All are in played with condition and are damage free except for a bit of wear on the outer part of the seat where it rests on a table. These seats should fit a small baby type doll that can be seated that is no larger than 12” in height. Originally these seats probably came with a doll included but they have become separated over the years. I think these seats are from the 1970s since my children had similar seats when they were babies. These seats would look so cute with matching fabric liners in a baby print, the missing strap could be replaced with cord or a plastic strap, and a metal stand could be fashioned to act as a back support, just like the real ones had.

Today I sorted the clothes we have left from Sam. You can tell that we had a boy but didn't find out ahead of time, and you can tell which stuff was gifts from people who didn't know us very well. The NB and 0-3 stuff is almost all gender-neutral colors; 6, 9, and 12 month stuff is largely blue and sporty; 18 and 24 month stuff is mostly in Sam colors. I was surprised to find that the only stuff we are short on is NB and 0-3, but then I remembered that I gave everything I wasn't totally attached to away to someone who had a surprise adoption (yes, really) and had nothing for a newborn. Other than some tiny t-shirts, though, we are pretty well set. (Of course, this baby will be on opposite seasons, so we will need to fill in a few things here and there. But it is warm enough here year-round that it won't be a big deal.)
