Jeweler's Building
Originally built to house diamond merchant offices, this 1926 building originally had an auto elevator that could take jewelers to their offices as high as the 22nd floor without leaving their cars--thus reducing the opportunity for holdups. The dome on top used to house the Stratosphere Lounge, said to have been run by Al Capone.
