Step 5: Pinching the opposite end of the spring You're going to need to pinch the last coil of the new hip spring (on the non-hook end) so that you can lock it onto the post of the spring perch. Insert the Phillips screwdriver down the "tube" of the spring, and use the shaft of the screwdriver as a mandrel to shape the coil with the locking pliers. If you don't use the screwdriver, you stand a good chance of squishing the coil into a flat shape that won't hook onto the post correctly. A 16-penny nail would also work, but this screwdriver sits right next to the other two in the toolbox - no hunting required. The idea is to make a circle about the size of the washer on the spring perch. It will take a few firm squeezes from different angles to get it right. You might have to use the small screwdrver to lift the last coil to where you can squeeze it with the pliers. Take your time, and don't pinch any fingers! unflop1
Hi, I decided to make a tutorial showing how to deflop the heads of 21cm, 23cm, 27cm hardbust, and male obitsu slim. I give full credit of this idea to Nicole. :) Thanks. Assuming that you've already taken the head apart, and you have unscrewed the neck peg, we shall begin here. What you need: the body(obviously) A small screwdriver A foam pad(the kind used to apply make-up works best) Similar posts: powerbuilt torque wrench wrench flare nut commercial electric tool set rigid pipe wrench pink screwdriver set stanley fat max screwdriver magnetic base drill |
