Bendix two speed hub guts
I was just doing a rebuild and I figured I would snap a picture before things got greasy again. I estimate I have put over 1000 miles on this hub easily. I have only replaced the bearings and the brake's clutch pack. Otherwise it is all original including the indexing spring. This is about 95% of the parts. Obviously the housing is not there and a some of the bearings are not in the picture. If you want to do this yourself. Having a parts cleaner helps but if you don't have one. A couple old tooth brushs, a couple cans of brake cleaner and a hand full of rags will get the job done nicely. No special tools are required. Just a set of standard wrenches and a screwdriver to pry off the snap rings is all you need.
A few 3/8 Drive Favorites
I used to work on stuff with none of these tools. Just a basic, Craftsman ratchet that was shorter than the Craftsman shown here. Now I can't imagine being without this grouping. Add a Hansen socket tray full of 6 point shallow and deep sockets and you're set.
