Project Description:

What is the connection between the local economy and local business, and what part can you play in this?

This project will explore the connections that exist between students' own financial transactions and local and national economies, and how these economies impact upon the lives of the students. Students will also consider how their families' financial circumstances are affected by large-scale economies.

This will tie in to the math curriculum through application of graphing, percentage increase and decrease, decimals, and budgets.
