After reading about prejudice and hatred in Number the Stars, students will connect these themes to their own lives, then research not-for-profit organizations that have connections to the themes. Students will write persuasive letters and create and film public service announcements to inform people in the community and around the world about the vital work of these not-for-profit organizations. |
