What is Dot-to-Dot?
IS 339 will be opening up its practices and learning for the entire world through a series of live and pre-recorded presentations on June 9, 2009. This event is called Dot-to-Dot: A Global Learning Reception. It is open to parents, students, educators, media and those interested in engaging in a conversation about the future of education. Visitors can attend in person any time between 1pm-5pm EST on June 9th, and can participate online as well.

How can I participate online?
Leave a comment for teachers and classes by using the comments form on every project page. (Project pages are listed here.) You can join a chat conversation about the live-streamed presentations, which are listed here. You can also leave feedback here.

What will June 9, 2009 look like?
The event itself will be comprised of live-streamed sessions for the online audience and in-house presentations delivered to in-person audiences. All 67 teachers will be participating, as well hundreds of students. The in-person event will run from 1pm-5pm EST, but all of this work will be archived on this web site and visitors are free to leave comments at a later time.



Where is IS 339?
IS 339 is located at 1600 Webster Avenue (map) in the Claremont section of the Bronx. Parking will be available on the day of the event. Public transit directions are available here.
