Project Description:

Why do some ideas connect to the current day while others perish?

Enjoy a four-tiered presentation of different aspects of life in Ancient Greece using the vernacular of our 6th Grade students, along with a video of student reflections.

Within the students' reflections, special attention will be made to the connection between democracy today and democracy in its infant form in Greece.

Our video features comic strips that illustrate life in Ancient Greece through the eyes of a Bronx 6th grader. The presentation will include student reflections.  Special attention will be made to the connection between democracy today and democracy in its infant form in Greece.
