How can role playing strengthen students connections to and understandings of historical events?

Take a ride back into the past within our social network.

Students will take on the roles of common Americans in colonial society, and view different aspects of life in these times. Synthesizing the knowledge they've gained about historical events pre- and post-Revolution, students will react to these events as they expect someone living in their assigned role would think and behave.
