Biography on the left (by Quinn): Alex: Nature’s friend Alex wants to protect nature. She protected nature by scaring off loggers. She spent millions of silver pennies to support the animals in the jungle. Alex loves animals and doesn’t want this place to be like other cities. Alex very was sad after her baby died. She would not do any thing and she got mad at people for no reason. She started to lose friends. People in the cities got mad at her. In order get over her sadness, she moved into the woods and started to study the animals. She made friends with the worms and started to ride them. Alex was raised as a slave and trained to be a guard. Being a guard for 50 years gives you freedom. She wanted to be free. Her job was to keep the slaves in the slave castle and away from the revolutionaries. Alex didn’t like her job as a guard, but she wanted to be free and it kept her safe from the revolutionaries. Sometimes a slave would escape into the woods and she would have to track them down and bring them back to the slave castle. She learned that slaves have a pretty bad life. After 50 years, she was freed and became a revolutionary. As a revolutionary, Alex was hired to ride worms in the war, but they weren’t as strong or big as the worms in the jungle. She asked if she could ride jungle worms and they said yes. That made her the first woman to ride a worm in the war. The worms would eat 30 people at a time and slither across the ground, while crushing soldiers at the same time. It made less enemies to fight. They won the war. Biography on the right (by Grayson): Dalis: President of Farthen Dur When she was young, her father was always on long trips and off to go to war (he always lived). Dalis always liked her father and was very strong and liked to be in a war, just like her father. She lived through four wars and then became a president. Dalis was President for eight years and never gave up at anything and she was the best president ever. When on her long twenty-nine year trip to China, she had started working for an old man named Khan. He was a very rich man with plenty of money to go around to people who have none. When Dalis was working in the fields, which is a very high paying job because there are many wild beasts that have killed people in the past, Dalis nearly died. She was attacked by an animal that had not been seen in China before. But she lived. When she was five, her father showed her a compass and she always thought how the little needled moved wherever the compass pointed. When she got older, she tried figuring out how the needle moved. She went on a hike and she got lost, but she had a compass. She knew which way her home was, so she followed the compass and she got to her home. And she never game up as long as she had a compass. Dalis had gotten back from her twenty-nine year trip to China. Her brother had thought they died and had gone looking for her. She had realized that her brother had died looking for her. So they had a funeral for her brother. The funeral lasted for over two days. Her family was terribly sad and could not sleep for two days. Her family could not bear no having a brother, so they adopted another brother and they had a good life.
