DOG GROOMING SHEAR. BEST HEDGE SHEARS. Dog Grooming Shear
Shaggy Dog (244/365) Auggie is a mess. And by mess I mean velcro for leaves. Which, in turn, means that our floors are always covered in leaves that he tracks in the house. And right now he smells too. I'm almost entirely immuned to his smell, so I know that when I start to smell him, he's got to be killing others with his doggy musk. And so...tomorrow he goes to the groomer. He's only ever been to one groomer, a really crazy lady down in Kansas where we used to live, so this should be interesting. The place I found is in Ann Arbor and has a no-crating/doggy playtime policy. So I think the dogs just run around and play together while they wait their turn to be groomed. The sad part is, he's so matted right now that I'm pretty sure they're going to have to shave him. I think his face can be groomed out without shaving, but the rest of him is about to look pretty funny. Like a giant rat, would be my guess. So I figured I should capture a shot of him in his wooly bully shaggy coat before he gets it sheared tomorrow. :) (15/52) For Everything Else, There's Mastercard
Slicker Brush: $75. Dog Clippers: $125. Grooming Shears: $55. The satisfaction of doing it yourself: Priceless. There are some things money can't buy. For everything else, there's Mastercard. -- (Looks better big!) LizLikesTheVu challenged me to recreate a well-known ad or poster. After lots and lots of pondering, I came up with this idea. Cause even though my equipment is expensive, I still love being able to groom Addie myself and making her look good. These are only a couple of my tools but the most important. The irony is that she's not fully groomed in this shot - I haven't had time to finish her legs! Suggestions always welcome.
