Florin:  I was born on May 19, 1995. I am from Romania. I came to America in 2002. I love to read, play videogames, play sports and play with my dog. My favorite subjects are math and reading. I play soccer and tennis a lot. When I grow up I want to go to Northwestern, and become a game tester/maker/designer. I speak three languages, which are English, Romanian, and Spanish. I love video games; I play over 12 hours of videogames a week. I also love dogs. I own a German Shepherd that I got from Germany, it’s a pure breed. I play with my dog a lot, and I love him. He is really large, and he scares all of my friends. He is really spoiled. In school, I have straight A’s and 1 B for Spanish.
Sabir : My name is Sabir, and I am 14 years old. I am currently attending Old Orchard Junior High in Skokie, IL. I enjoy playing sports of all kinds, especially basketball and football. I love to watch TV and go online. My favorite TV shows are by far, Matt Groening’s The Simpsons, Seth McFarlane’s Family Guy, and David Shore’s HOUSE. When I grow up I want to be one the following things. A scholar of religion and history, an actuary, or a CEO of a huge company (McDonalds!). I enjoy writing stuff when I’m bored, whether it’s a poem, a story or whatever. Other than all of that I enjoy doing murals and drawing in my black book, for future mural ideas. I like music too. I listen to whatever sounds good. Mostly oldies. Well that’s me.
Theresa  Theresa is 13 years old. She has a little sister. She is an 8th grader at OOJH, who enjoys Irish dancing, skiing, swimming, hiking, and traveling. She loves frogs, and St. Patrick’s Day. She wants to grow up to be a teacher, librarian, author, or Irish Dancer. Theresa likes to read. Her favorite subjects are reading and science. Purple is her favorite color. She enjoys learning. Iryna. (:  Iryna is an eight grader at Old Orchard Junior High School, and will graduate this year. She is thirteen years old and she really loves math and reading. She hopes to someday grow up and become a high school math teacher, an author, or an architect. She enjoys reading and her favorite author is Sarah Dessen. She likes the color yellow, and penguins are her favorite animal. She has a little sister, a cat named Princess, and a hamster named Baby. She speaks English, Ukrainian, Russian, and is learning Spanish. |
