The Shot Glass
The Shot Glass
Donna and I went up and down Bourbon Street trying out the bars. She discovered that shots were much cheaper ($3) than drinks ($6-8). That is until we got to a place that wanted to charge us $8 for a shot, and then wouldn't take a credit card for less than $10. I told the barmaid to put a $2 tip on the ticket. Then I wanted justice. I was looking around at the entrances when Donna looked at me and said, "You're taking the shot glass, aren't you." I said yes, but was concerned about the watchers at the door. She said, "I can make that happen." A few minutes later, she said "Follow me close." We walked out with the shot glass in her back pocket. It may not be my preferred style, but I don't like being taken advantage of. So, here's a toast to Bourbon Street.
