Rubbermaid 5 day cooler. Logo cooler bag. Gott cooler replacement parts. Rubbermaid 5 Day Cooler
piccolo chair This is Piccolo, our new cat. hello Flickr friends! I haven't posted anything in a while, and I'm sorry that this isn't lego. I'm going through a bit of a dark spot. Not by choice, exactly: mid February my GF and I moved out of our parents' houses, and into an apartment together! it's a nice little 2-bedroom. The second bedroom is to become our lego/hobby/reading room, but as of right now it's storage for things to put on shelves that we don't have yet. Moving into a new place is a serious pain, and I feel like I haven't had a single day since moving in that I haven't had my free-time eaten up doing SOMETHING for the apartment. It's exhausting! Now we're trying to find an air conditioner and figure all that out, before spring gets too hot. Oh yeah, and we got a cat of our own! He was 8 weeks old in this picture, so that would make him about 4 or 5 months now. We got him from the toronto animal services, who rescued 47 or so cats. There were big rubbermaid tubs FULL of tiny kittens... some were far too young to adopt, but I got to see/pet them anyways. I stuck my arms into the tub and they all started climbing up my sleeves. I could have easily adopted them all. It would have turned a weaker man into a crazy cat person, I tell you. it's a slippery slope! Piccolo was one of 6 kittens. 4 of his siblings and his mom got adopted. We would have taken his brother too, but we probably couldn't handle 2 kittens. He is, in fact, named after the DBZ character, Piccolo, from the planet namek. We were trying to pick a name for days, and jokingly I started naming DBZ characters... Vegeta... Cooler... Garlic Junior... Kakaroto... and when I said Piccolo, my GF really liked it. Piccolo also means "little" in Italian, so that's what we tell people who we don't feel like explaining DBZ to. I checked out TBB last week and was pretty sad to have learned that Nnenn died while I was out of the lego loop. I didn't have any special interaction with him beyond some comments, and a few PMs (mostly from him asking me to edit things I said, because his young boys were reading flickr... and Normy likes the colourful language.) but his MOCs were an inspiration to me, as was his online demeanor. I also admired the degree of anonymity he achieved. Some people out there criticized the credit he got, but considering how he managed not to attach a real name or face to his MOCs well.. it's something I probably couldn't do. I'll miss him. Slowly things are coming together with the apartment, and soon the lego will be out again! How have you all been? it all fits!!
