You can see the power conduit, water supply, and sewer (with cleanout). The telephone/internet demarc is still on the wall, but tomorrow or Friday there will be another conduit for telecomm.

We've got a nice setup on the water supply--a pair of ball valves to shut off the water supply to the house (on the riser) and the landscape plumbing (on the horizontal pipe).

Electrofusion / Butt Fusion is used to make permanent joints in PE pipe. Electrofusion involves the use of fittings into which the pipes are inserted. An electric current is then applied to melt the assembly together. Butt Fusion joins the pipes directly without an additional fitting. The (black) coupler has two nodes, into which the electric charge is connected (see note)
