Here you see the fastening (is this the right word?) of the bag. I rolled up a small piece of inner tubing and added a small metal bead. In this pic you can also see that I used striped cotton for the lining.

The bag is felted out merino wool. The rubber is recycled inner bicycle and moped tubing. My fingers still ache from all the stitching I did. Unfortunately the material was too tough for my sewing machine.
