For those just starting the journey of learning how to drum, or those at the intermediate level, 247drums is happy have as its teacher Jack Cash.  Jack has worn many hats professionally, having worked as a technician, engineer and manager for Verizon, as well as Drum Instructor and as a Public School Teacher. Jack holds a B.S. from Northeastern University and is currently finishing his M.Ed. in Teaching Science from Cambridge College. He is currently licensed as a Middle School Teacher by the State of Massachusetts.
 
 
Jack has been playing drums for over 30 years and has more than two decades of experience teaching drums to individuals and groups at the primary and secondary, as well as the college and adult level. Among the places he has taught are 27thlLancers, Coast Guard Academy, Stoughton High School and Wayland Middle School.
 
Jack is always looking to hone his own drumming skills in order to bring more value to his students. He currently drums locally in a both a jazz group and rock group and studies privately with Dean Johnston.  Jack has also learned from and been inspired by other great drummers including Sergio Bellotti, John Muzzy, Larry Finn and Charley Poole.  He strongly endorses 247’s philosophy, which is to give great value and instruction to the student by meeting the student where they are developmentally and giving respectful, and competent and age appropriate instruction
