Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials

Tips: Groups only works with Email, Sites, and Video.
Tips for sharing with your groups that contain external users (addresses outside of your domain):

  • Sites: External members of a group can share a site, even if the sharing permission is set to sharing only within the domain.
  • Videos: Only users in your domain can view your Google Apps videos. You can share a video with a group that contains external users, but only members of your domain have access.
  • If you want to easily communicate with all users at your domain, you can create a group for your entire domain. Instead of entering each group member, you can check the box next to Add all users within this domain when you create the group.
