Kimono Kids Doll Made from Felt and Fabric "Emiko" This is Emi (Emiko).She is the last doll I'll be making for 2009(I'm wiped out!). Kimono Kids Dolls are felt and fabric dolls that are stuffed with poly batting and embellished with ribbon and felt flowers.They are aprox.15" tall and are 50% machine sewn,50%hand sewn.It takes about a fat quarter of a yard of fabric to make the kimono for each one.Their heads are double thick felt so that they're more sturdy. Each of my Kimono Kids Dolls has a pocket on the back of his or her obi that closes with a bit of sewn on Velcro.I've made several Boy Dolls too(they're cute with their spiky hair) see my profile for a link:o) Thanks for looking!! Alphabet Bear Wall Hanging Toy
These are some quick pics of another little bear experiment that I did. They're stuffed animal wall hangings of Alphabet Bears. Each bear has a loop so they can hang on the wall and they connect with each other with a little bow on their hands. If you want to hold one you just untie the ribbon and take it off the wall. I'm thinking it would be cute for a kids room. You could spell out a kid's name and hang it on the wall, and then they could pick which letter to take down and hold at night.
