Today was to be a big day for Hunter Badminton, with some chances to get into the medals.

From here life gets much harder!

First up in the morning Alan had to play his semifinal in the 60+ Mens Singles against Winston Allen, making it through to the final to be played later.

Lyn and Maggie were up next in the 45+ Womens Doubles semi-final against Pui Li & Mei-Hsia Liu, but went down 7-15, 11-15 and then lost the 3-4 play-off in a very close battle, finally going down to Sandra Pearton & Alida Stewart in three sets, 17-15, 12-15, 11-15.

Alan and Penny had to forfeit the chance for the gold medal game as Penny could not attend on Saturday and will play for the bronze medal on Sunday morning.

Around midday Alan took on Chee Ming Chu in the gold medal game. However, Ming was too good and won 15-4, 15-9.
