ORSON VELS BI BIO BLOGER ILI KAKO SMO UZBUNILI MAKEDONIJU

Pre izvesnog vremena javio mi se Aleksandar Ilić (nije folk pevač), poznanik, pisac „Srpskog psiha“ sa idejom da preko bloga pustimo neku bombastičnu lažnu vest i da vidimo kako će odjeknuti. Naravno, ideja je bila testiranje reakcije „zvaničnih medija“ (koji sebe vole da zovu i „ozbiljnim“) na ovu vrstu kulturne diverzije. Blog City Magazina je iz više razloga bio dobro mesto za to, pre svega ima solidan broj poseta (700 do 1000 dnevno), popularan je ali ne previše (kao, recimo, blog B92 koji je postao preveliki mainstream da bi sebi mogao da dozvoli ovakvu provokaciju), ima dobar rejting među online populacijom, a smeštanjem „vesti“ u blog izbegnuto je preveliko vezivanje medija za nju pošto blogovi imaju tretman dnevničkih beleški, dakle nisu zvanična izjava. Aleksandar je prošlog ponedeljka sastavio tekst o navodnom otkriću grobnice Aleksandra Makedonskog, „dokumentovao „ je sa par fotki, linkova i kao izvor naveo odavno ugašenu makedonsku agenciju.

Pitao sam se hoće li se neko upecati na ovo.

Ono što se dogodilo premašilo je sva naša očekivanja. Nakon pola dana počeli su da rastu brojevi vezani za posetu tom tekstu, dan kasnije (prošli utorak) sajt je bukvalno eksplodirao od poseta stigavši do cifre od čak 3688 posetilaca da bi i u sledećih par dana zadržao visok broj posetilaca. Pomenuti tekst pročitan je za 8 dana više od 7000 puta i sigurno će s obzirom na broj linkova koji vode na njega, još dosta dugo imati čitaoce. Same cifre ipak nisu dovoljne da pokažu šta se sve izdešavalo u proteklih nekoliko dana. U utorak me je na redakciju zvala novinarka iz Dnevnika, poznatog skopskog dnevnika, da proveri kakva je to priča o kojoj bruji Makedonija, pišu tamošnje novine…jednom rečju to je tema dana u toj zemlji. Elegantno sam provukao da je blog nešto što nije baš zvanični medij i uputio gđu na autora koji je objasnio da je u pitanju književni rad.  Ipak, i pored ovog objašnjenja još par dana mediji, a naročito portali prenosili su ovu „vest“ kao istinitu dok, na kraju, svi zajedno nisu shvatili da je u pitanju namerno plasirana diverzija.

Eksperiment je apsolutno uspeo, čak preko svake mere. Ne smem ni da zamislim kakvu bi ovo buru izazvalo da smo celu stvar malo pogurali, recimo pravljenjem još par vezanih vesti, njihovim plasiranjem na par drugih adresa, uplitanjem pravih likova….ali to bi već izašlo iz okvira dobrog ukusa i moglo bi nekome da napravi probleme. Ali postalo je jasno koliko je svet informacija u kome živimo postao copy/paste svet u kome jedan blog može da izazove buru (makar ona bila u čaši vode). Svi prepisuju sve, niko više ništa ne provera, izvori se navode bez njihovog pravog konsultovanja…i svi sve prihvataju. Da je Orson Vels živ shvatio bi da je njegova radio drama kojom je Amerikance naterao u bekstvo pred Marsovcima bila tek nevina igrarija u odnosu na ono što današnji mediji omogućavaju. A jezivo je kada pomislite u čijim su rukama i ko nam, ovako ispranim, iskuvanim i izbledelima, pretrpanim informacijama i oguglalim (o-google-alim) kreira mišljenje.

Almost every home has a television today. It offers programmes from a number of available channels and is very simple to use. The Cable TV (CATV) makes it possible to choose programmes from large number of channels. Then became video rental business in combination with a video recorder, which provides customers to select movies when they will. This service may be called video on demand.

Nowadays Video-on-Demand (VoD) includes much wider services and opportunities. Today s technology allows telecommunication network operators to offer such services as home shopping, games, and movies on demand. These services should have a competitive pri ce comparing to the video rental, and customers do not need to travel for the services. These possibilit ies have been reached by the development of the telecommunication and electronic industry. The capacity of a hard disk has doubled almost every year at near-constant cost. The useful compression ratio for video has been increased considerably, MPEG-format ted video can be transported at a bit rate of few Mbit/s. The digital signal processing techniques permit the transport of a few Mbit/s over existing copper wires for a distance of a few kilometres. Finally, Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) systems allow the switching of any reasonable bit rate to a single or multiple customers among a large number of connected customers. However, today s transmission bandwidth is large only downstream towards the customer with narrow upstream bandwidth. But upstream bandwidth will also become wider in the future, then interactivity between the customer and the service provider will increase.

This new technology is being developed all the time, because Video-on-Demand has so many different applications to offer to the custo mers and economical possibilities have been seen. Many companies, organisations and universities are developing products and standards. Both cable TV and telephone operators invest to their networks and have some trials in Video-on-Demand. To finance the required investments, higher consumer volumes must be reached from residential side instead of business side that is running ahead in the development of technology. The battle is hard, and it is getting harder all the time. So some companies have establis hed business relationships to get their knowledge and resources together. In addition, they may avoid some regulation restrictions before telecommunication markets are opened to everyone.
