2007 5pc Silver Quarter Proof Set NGC PF69UC
Starting in January 1999, America began a unique and historically compelling ten-year celebration of the 50 States. Each year, from 1999 through 2008, the U.S. Mint will produce, at the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints, five different State quarter designs on the reverse side of the familiar George Washington quarter dollar. Signed by President Clinton on December 1. 1997, 50 States Commemorative Coin Program Act provides for the redesign of the reverse side of the quarter dollars with designs emblematic of each of the 50 States. Each will be honored in the order of that State's admission to the United States. The obverse features face of George Washington, the words "United States of America", "Quarter Dollar", "Liberty", "In God We Trust", S mint mark. The state designs are displayed on the reverse. The quarters included in this set are Montana, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming and Utah; all PF69UC 2007- S Clad. This quality (GRADE) rating is determined on the Sheldon scale, on which points are deducted from 70 for each flaw or imperfection on a coin's surface.
