Flyfishing Wisconsin, Upper Midwest Fly Fishing and the Wisconsin Fly Fishing Page Message Board invite you, your friends and your family to Avalanche, Wisconsin on September 19th, 20th and 21st for the first annual Avalanche Flyfisher's Rendezvous.
Come celebrate and help support the people who transformed the West Fork of the Kickapoo from a Class 3, marginal trout water into one of the finest streams in the State of Wisconsin.
The West Fork of the Kickapoo, along with many other streams in Southwest Wisconsin, was severely impacted by heavy rains and flooding in early June. The damage to the West Fork Sportsmans Club grounds was severe. Besides giving fly fishers from around the region an opportunity to get together and fish and talk the Rendezvous hosts hope, through this event and its raffle, to raise money to help defray the costs of repair to the Club's infrastructure and its neighboring waters.
In the next few weeks we hope to expand the information on the upcoming Rendezvous.A list of raffle items will be posted. And information on any clinics and special events will be broadcast. Feel free to visit us here at http://sites.google.com/site/2008avalancherendezvous/
