Adam Smith, new CFO of Kelly Auto Group, is greeted by Chris Saraceno (right) VIce President and Partner of Kelly Auto Group Kelly Auto Group is welcoming Adam Smith as its Chief Financial Officer. In this new position, Smith will be responsible for Kelly Auto Group’s eight franchises at its five locations. “We are extremely pleased to have Adam join our team. Adam has worked for the CPA firm that worked for Kelly Auto Group for the past 10 years, and we’ve been trying to recruit him to come onboard with us full time for the last five years,” says Chris Saraceno, Kelly Auto Group Vice President and Partner. “Adam is assertive, and he already knows and understands our business and our culture. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have a CFO like him,” says Saraceno. “I’m very excited to be here,” says Smith, who started work as CFO mid-September. “The people I work with are extremely friendly, and they are interested growing the company and becoming even more successful than they already are.” “Before I started here, I was the outside accountant for Kelly Auto Group for 10 years. The firm I worked for -- Lawrence F. Tornetta, LTD., Certified Public Accounts, in Plymouth Meeting, PA – provided audit, review and tax services for Kelly Auto Group.” “Working inside the automotive industry at Kelly Auto Group will be a new challenge for me. What inspired me to take this job was the opportunity to take the knowledge about Kelly Auto Group I gained working for Lawrence F. Tornetta and use that in my new position here to provide accounting oversight throughout the group and to develop and implement strategies to help the company grow.” Prior to joining Kelly Auto Group, Smith had worked for 12 years at Lawrence F. Tornetta, LTD., the last six years at the manager level. Smith is a graduate of Shippensburg University, Shippensburg, PA with a B.S. in Accounting. He has a wife, Lee Anne Smith, and three children, Philip 8, Nathaniel 6, and Julia, 4 years old.
