On Tuesday 14th June 2011..I met up with Flickr pals Gary Kenyon and Steve Smith for a walk up in the lake district national park Cumbria.. We were to climb the peak called The Old Man Of Coniston (2,634 feet (803 m) high) Via Levers water and Swirl How(802m / 2,630ft) (another peak). We started off from Coniston village and walked up to Leverswater and then onto Swirl how then on to The Old man then back down again..It was a fantastic day with glorious weather… While taking some shots around Levers water, we had spread out a little, I had walked over to a load of rocks when i heard a lamb Bleating close by. To my horror I saw a lamb wedged in a pile of large rocky boulders with just it’s head poking out..I went over and it was well and truly stuck, there was no way that it would have got out..It would have died if we hadn’t intervened.I called the lads over to help…I had to put my hands in between the rocks and lamb scraping them all in the process and pull it’s front legs up one at a time as it would not come out head first, then along with Gary we had to really pull the poor lamb out..It was terrified..then it came out bleeding quite a bit..we placed it gently on the floor… fortunately nothing was broken as it legged it away then to find it’s mother.. Well that was our good deed for the day.. You may be able to see the lamb in lower middle of the picture…

(Gandhi Indian Cuisine in Silverdale, WA) Scott didn't want the buffet, he wanted his favorite dish, the Lamb Korma. They asked him if he wanted a side of rice and some naan as well. He thought...of course? Isn't that how it comes? No, apparently not at this Gandhi's... So he was charged outrageously and was upset the meal did not come with the pakoras. But worst yet was that the rice they brought him tasted and smelt like an awful combination of mildew and crayon.... AND they forgot to bring him the beer to wash it down with! (so glad I went for the buffet!)
