. I had some of my friends over yesterday for a bit of girl chatter and coffee (or tea), we had a lovely afternoon, with lots of laughter, eating, talking, coffee and yes, tea as well. Glass side plates, silver cake forks, glass cups and saucers and paper (yes!!) napkins. The glass plates were picked up at a market for $1.00 each, the cups and saucers are at least 50 years old, the silver cake forks were a bargain at 50 cents a box of about 20 that included cake servers and cream spoons, all silver, but badly tarnished. The seller had no idea of their worth! oh yes, and the paper napkins, at the local supermarket for about $3.00. But the friendship? Priceless.
