Made in London 1847-1848 as denoted by the Leopard's head (London) and this style of the letter 'M' for the year. The Woman's head at the bottom is the Duty mark.. Got this one at an estate sale. They had lots of silver locked up in a display case, but this lone piece was in the kitchen drawer and I got it for $.25.

Early American silver flatware. This is the group of teaspoons I have gotten at thrift shops and antique malls over the years. The details are in the following images. Some are monogrammed, some not. If there is an image of a monogram, following is the image of the signature of the maker on the back of the spoon.
