Transfers heat from computer processor to heatsink more efficiently / 75% to 80% silver content / Loaded in a plastic syringe

With all the demands that the latest applications and operating systems place on computer systems, today's higher-speed CPUs run much hotter than their predecessors, which threatens their performance and durability as well as your whole system's reliability. The Antec 761345-77063-7 Silver Thermal Compound helps keep your system cool by providing essential cooling protection. While fans can help significantly lower your CPU temperature, the contact area between your CPU core and the heat sink is often not optimal, and therefore the cooling effect is limited. The Antec 761345-77063-7 is a superior interface material that is made of 99 percent pure micronized silver, and is 75 to 80 percent silver content by weight. Silver's superior thermal conductivity and resistance will help lower your CPU temperature by as much as 10 degrees Celsius -- a difference that could significantly add to the efficiency and overall life of your system.

I really like Arctic Silver thermal paste. It's very expensive but I personally feel it's the best paste you can get. I put slightly too much on the heatsink but found a old credit card to cleanly level the paste. Notice the strange "x" device? That's the universal heatsink adapter designed to fit different CPU sockets.

A dab of the magical thermal compound atop the newly installed chip. (Basically a pure silver grease that conducts heat, but not electricity, very efficiently.) Awaiting installation of the CPU cooler. I used a third-party Zalman instead of the stock fan.

Arctic Alumina Thermal Adhesive (Two Tube Set)
Characteristics:

Arctic Alumina Adhesive uses a layered composite of aluminum oxide and boron nitride.

Arctic Alumina Adhesive is a pure electrical insulator, neither electrically conductive nor capacitive.

A set of Arctic Alumina Thermal Adhesive consists of two tubes containing a total of 5 grams of adhesive (2.5 grams each of parts A and B) and a plastic reusable mixing wand. (Approximately 3cc total adhesive.)

Although lighter per set than Arctic Silver Adhesive due to its use of ceramics rather than silver, each set of Arctic Alumina Adhesive contains the same amount of adhesive by volume as a set of Arctic Silver adhesive and will cover the same area.

Compliancy:
RoHS Compliant.
