Welcome Class of 2014!
Please use this site as a rough guideline as things may have changed since this page was originally created to inform the Class of 2013 (and somehow this link was just reused from last year).  Feel free to contact your Big Sib for more details!  See you in the Fall!

Welcome Michigan State University CVM Class of 2013!
On this site, you'll find information about textbooks and course packs for your first semester of veterinary school.  This information is subject to change though if anything changes, additional materials are to be expected rather than switching what is already listed (i.e., you should feel free to purchase any of the listed required textbooks).

Where do I buy my course packs and books?
Course packs and books are found in the Fee Hall Medical Bookstore (517) 353-9560.  This bookstore is in the basement of East Fee Hall and is the only place to get course packs.  You can find this building on the campus maps found at http://maps.msu.edu/ (Interactive Campus Map is recommended).

Books may or may not be found at any of the MSU bookstores listed on this site http://www.msu.edu/textbooks.html

And of course, you can buy books online!

If you want to look up specific information about which books are required, recommended, and if course packs are in stock for each course, visit http://www.spartanbook.com/
but this site might not be up to date, so I would recommend calling the bookstore(s) in the late summer.  Most of the course packs will not be available until just before or even after you start class (all dependent on the instructor).  Information about course packs is based on last year so check with the Fee Hall Medical Bookstore to be sure.
