"Pirate Patrol" won GOLD this year
Investitures of Bella, Catherine and Elizabeth The Cubs had a sleepover at the hall and then participated in the dawn service. This was followed by a Cub investiture at the fort. Later in the morning both Cubs and Scouts joined the ANZAC day march with the Scouts continuing in for the morning service Cohen Shield is a patrol based weekend competetion. 1St Queenscliff got a gold and bronse award - very well done!!!
| Green muffins were part of the menu The Cubs enjoyed the day at the Ocean Grove Nature reserve with firelighting, cooking and walking as part of the activities. The Scout group volunteers to do pancakes every year as part of the Queenscliff fundraising effort for the Royal Childrens hospital Stradbroke is a competition camp for Scouts and this year 1st Queenscliff achieved Gold for both patrols - a great effort!!! | Congratulations to Zack and Ashley who were invested into the group on the roundabout in town outside the Vue Grand hotel Cub camp at the Maritime Museum included an overnight stay in tents and a private tour of the museum in the morning. Lots of fun despite the rain!!! Mother day activities included blind folded billy cart races The night also included a send off for James (Baloo) who has been a valued leader for a number of years. |
