Magic Jasper Necklace & Earrings Set
Achromatic Collection This is a unique and gorgeous jewelry set. The achromatic colour scheme (black/grey/silver) really shows off the texture of the marbling in the jasper, and this set looks great as an accessory to any colour. The necklace and earrings can be worn together or separately, and look great for formal occasions and casual settings alike. The incredible rectangular jasper pendant is the inspiration for this set. It is substantial but hangs gracefully. For the necklace, I carefully selected the jasper heishi beads to create symmetrical bands of black, dark and pale grey, nestled between silver heishi spacers. In the center of these bands, crystal quartz rounds framed by silver flower beadcaps shine magically. Bali spacers with large and small granulations pick up on the black of the jasper, and add an unexpected element of intricate detail on either side of the quartz. To calm the entire piece, I repeated shiny silver beads throughout. The cubes and rectangles mimic the shape of the pendant, while the rounds add contrast. I finished this necklace with rows of silver rounds, which feel great against the back of the neck, and a toggle clasp with a heart design. The necklace is approximately 15-1/2" in length with the pendant extending approximately 2" further. The earrings combine all the elements of the necklace and are absolutely magnificent. Instead of featuring the jasper, as in the necklace, the crystal quartz rounds are the focal point of these luxurious dangles. By finishing them with posts that have sparkling cubic zirconias embeded within them, these earrings are elevated to a new level. The earrings are comfortable and have great movement. 1-9/16" in length. All stones are genuine and all silver is .925 sterling silver. An original, one of a kind creation.
