Sterling Silver (Var. Patterns from 1800s)
My collection of assorted silver pieces. The one on the far left and the two on the far right are plate-silver, the rest are sterling. - Second and fourth from left is "Versailles" by Gorham, circa 1888. - Third is "Edward VII" by Alvin, circa 1899, engraved 1901 - Center spoon is unknown, but the oldest piece I have. - Fifth is "Love Disarmed" by Reed and Barton, circa 1899 - Sixth is "Francis I" by Reed and Barton, circa 1907
Enamel Trays
I recently found these two blue Gorham enameled trays. The larger one is marked Gorham Giftware L679 and the smaller one is marked Gorham Giftware L858. They are a silver company but the back looks like brass or something. The green one in the back I got a few years ago and I like better. The enamel is more iridescent. It is Reed & Barton and marked Reed & Barton 1168.
