This week, I once again travelled to the Adirondacks to try and snow-shoe to the peak of Mt. Marcy. As I was driving along, minding my own business, this Bald Eagle just happened to come into view sitting in an old tree close to the highway and caught my attention. Of course, I had to stop! I sometimes wonder why it takes me longer to get some places than the distance and speed limit might suggest. This time, blame this eagle! LOL
