The cat on my coffee mug loves the cookie I baked. Why? Story below..
I made a mindblowing discovery yesterday. Really. I thought I had bought a car when I bought mine. I didn't realize that it was a Transformer! Well, most of you are aware of Transformers, right? There are two kinds of them: The Autobots, robots that can transform to vehicles and back; and the Decepticons, robots that can transform into any electronic device. My car happens to be a hybrid. Yesterday, I saw it convert itself into an oven. Really. Come on, believe me. Ahh.. I knew you wouldn't. That is why I took my camera and caught it on digital film (see comments section below). I first made the discovery when I came to my car at around noon. I had left one of those digital room thermometers in my car and it showed 139.2F (59.5C). That is when I knew I wasnt in my car anymore. But I had to prove it, right? So during lunch break I visited the nearest grocery and got cookie dough (ready to bake) and some foil (I used a different car, I left the Deceptobot alone). By then the temperature had risen to 142.6F (61.4C). I placed the cookie sheet on my dash, spread three cookies (thinner than usual) and left for work. The temperature was 145F (62C) by then, and I made a bad move by placing the thermometer next to the cookie on the dash. The heat killed the display (display came back on after leaving it in the shade), and I had to use a different thermometer (traditional mercury). 150F (65C) and two hours later, my cookies were done. So now you know why the cat on my coffee mug loves the cookie. Oh, did I tell you? The city where I live in, is a Transformer itself. It has decided to transform itself into a sauna. And yes, my Deceptobot still smells like an oven :-) Have a cool Tuesday all :-) PS: I did have time to get some lunch, and it wasn't cookies ;-)
