Insulin cooler. 50 quart cooler. Insulin Cooler
When in doubt....just dance!... This up there is a screen shot of my iphone. I found all my S Club songs and put them on it. I used to be a HUGE S Club 7 fan in the late 90's then in 2000 I even got to meet them! It was awesome! It's so cool to find old songs again I used to jam out to. I still remember all their dance routines because I used to watch all their videos on MTV all day long AND their TV series (Miami and LA PLUS the movie LOL) J, WHAT in the world does this have to do with diabetes? Easy! We had homemade pizza tonight and I at first I had NO clue how to bolus for it (like I have never weighed/measured ingredients before) but mi padrino had premade the dough and all so I just looked up how many carbs a CPK thin crust pizza had and went from there. I split my bolus in 3-4 shots for pizza (I call it "wave-jabbing)....which is pretty much the equivalent to wavebolusing that pumpers do LOL might sound weird but it makes for some pretty awesome numbers and keeps me in the low 200's if at all after pizza. HA! OK, J, that's nice. But I still don't get the connection between S Club and pizza!!! Oh, of course, sorry, well I put on my headphones and turned up that music and danced around the whole house (I told you I still remember all those dance routines). I'm now at 189 (2 hours after pizza)....I'll dance a lil more and then go to bed and probably do a 2AM check even though I am pretty sure that I'll be fine :) Yay for: PIZZZAAAAA Yay for: S Club 7 Yay for: dancin Yay for: piano/guitar: I learned two new songs on guitar and 3 new ones on piano today Yay for: new JLA episode! W00T! Sooo tell me, who were you listening to 10 years ago? Totally Rockin' it!...
"More and more, I start to realize, I can reach my tomorrow, I can hold my head high,.." This describes the way I'm feeling today quite well! I have had awesome numbers all day. I was rockin a sweet 100 at lunch today in the cafeteria! It's only 1 out of 8-10 more numbers I will have seen by the time the day is over but any number within range is a Simple Win....Many Simple Wins add up to the Big Win: Life (and I just had to take a picture right there and then :) LOL) This is what I shared on Twitter today as I was hanging out in the cafeteria: "At the school cafeteria, blood sugar in check, CR2 soundtrack on ipod, ppl watching, @PapaJonas Road Dogs updates #livinthedreambaby" "Id like to apologize to the kid at the table next to me in the cafeteria who obviously doesnt do so well with blood drops & needles LOL" "dude came up to me "saw ur meter case r u t1?" me "yes" dude "so is my best friend" we had a good talk" So yeah, needless to say I had a great day! It is amazing how much more energy I have and how easier it is to have a great attitude towards just about everything when my numbers are in range all day. (my highest was 146 after lunch) Yay for: Simple Wins Yay for: awareness Yay for: good d-days Yay for: cool people Yay for: Road Dogs taking home that win! AWESOME!!! So tell me, isn't an in range day the best thing in the world, when all your hard work seems to pay off for once?
