The CAF Dixie Wing is pleased to announce the 6th annual
edition of "WWII Heritage Days April 18-19, 2009.
Program highlights are below.
For those who attended WWII Heritage Days in April 2008,
a commemorative photo album has been created and is
available online for purchase. The album contains
42 pages / 105 photos and can be viewed;
The commemorative DVD project has been delayed, however
all participating units will receive complimentary copies
when the DVD is completed.

2009 WWII HERITAGE DAYS HIGHLIGHTS

- Ceremony honoring The Greatest Generation Sat, April 18 @ 10am
- Expanded village: farmhouse, cemetary, pillboxs, buildings, tank traps.
- Public battles: NW Europe and Central Europe (US ETO, US PTO, British, German and Russian impressions welcome)
- Vintage aircraft, including a P-51 Mustang, SBD Dauntless and Japanese Zero and Kate
- Military Vehicles
- Canteen Shows
- Educational displays and demonstrations
- "Keep 'em Flying" WWII-theme hangar dance, complete with
- 21-piece band, singers and BBQ dinner April 18 6pm-11pm (Advance Tickets $35; at the door $50)
