In a last minute turn of events I went from restoring a 78 Camaro to rodstoring a 65 C10.
It was Saturday morning 6 weeks before my wedding, my Camaro had been booked for body & paint for almost 12 months. A confirmation visit before delivering my camaro to the shop left me out on the street looking for a new body shop, he had double booked and wouldn't be able to finish the car in time for my wedding. Wanting a SEMA finish I wasn't going to settle for just anyone to straighten my panels & lay down the colour, project "wedding camaro" was officially on hold. That same weekend my better half & I were out for a drive trying to forget about the Camaro when I noticed a beat down chevy truck parked in a field, even better, it was for sale! $3500 to purchase, $3000 to safety & 6 weeks of help from the boys at RS Automotive as a wedding gift we drove off in that truck happily married!
