It has nice wood paneling, but the front compartment -- the chauffeur's station -- is a good deal less lavish than the rear. While Hydra-Matic (built under license from GM) was available on Rolls-Royces by 1953, this car has the standard transmission; no point in paying extra for a convenience item to benefit the hired help!
