Copper Bangle Bracelet with Sterling Silver Spinner
Here's a new "spin" on my spinning rings! It's a bright copper bangle bracelet with a thick, sterling silver spinning bangle. It measures 7/16" (10mm) wide and is 2 1/2" (63mm) in diameter. It fits a medium to medium plus. The sterling silver spinner is made from thick 12g sterling wire. The copper is bright and shiny but will age over time to a beautiful bronzy brown.
Sterling Silver Hammered Bangle
This hammered bangle (5mm wide) was my project in my 2nd silversmithing class, but was originally of a smooth, shiny finish. After one week, I disliked the number of scratches that had accumulated on the mirror finish, and decided to re-cut and basically bashed the heck out of it with a metal ball peen hammer before re-soldering and reshaping it into what you see here.
