This Ring-Billed Gull posed for me on a bridge railing next to the Old Silver Beach parking lot in North Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA. I believe this bird is not fully mature, as there are immature markings in the plumage about the head. Perhaps this is this bird's third winter. For this image, I used my manual focus Celestron 1000mm f11 Maksutov Cassegrain Mirror Lens (aka C90) with attached Pentax K mount T-mount on Pentax K20D Camera, hand held, manually focused, SR 800mm, ISO 800, 1/500 sec, with available ambient light.
