The silver used in this piece was scrap pieces of sterling silver from other works that I melted into a Ingot then hand hammered into a thick sheet. The various pieces were then cut from it. Alcohol inks dropped onto translucent clay, sprinkled with glitter. Translucent clay covered with silver leaf with alcohol inks dropped on top. I think the sheets were then ripped into pieces and applied to the beads.

This is a ECONOMIC PACK (LOOSE TYPE ONLY) item. Each Economic Pack contains 10 Economic Singles, each Economic Single has 100 silver leaf sheets, for a total of 1,000 imitation silver leaf sheets. Imitation silver leaf is made from pure Aluminum. Standard dimension of each leaf is 5?" x 5?". The leaves are placed in paper booklets, loosely inlaid in 25 compartments, one for each leaf. To cut the leaf, one may take it from the booklet with the gilding knife and place it on the gilding cushion or drop it directly from the booklet onto the gilding cushion. Then, pick up the leaf with the gilder's tip and place it onto the prepared surface.
