Problem with the original MB wheel is its size. Same as normal W123/W126 sedans, this wheel could be easily installed on a medium sized truck, i had it on my Gwagen 280GE, it's huge for a sports sedan like the 2.3 16.
I installed a MOMO steering wheel, which i admit is not what i want esthetically, it does not suit the wood interior at all.
However i was impressed byt the car manoeuvraibility, in fact the huge original steering wheel made the steering very soft and Honda Civic like, very annoying... With the small Momo wheel, steering is harder, now that's a sport car feel on the steering wheel...
Problem: The MOMO wheel hides a big part of the instrument compartiment, this is very annoying, speed is unreadable above 90KM/h, rpm is a little bit hidden... I'm however gonna keep the MOMO wheel, because sincerly, the original steering wheel is terribly awful to drive.
