Maisie and her family Children's author Aileen Paterson (McLaggan Smith Cats) created the series of delightful stories and images for children about Maisie the cat and her family. Here are some of my own mugs I have collected over the years and Maisie lives happily with Archie, Granny, Mrs McKitty, Flora and Effie who love to travel on the bus from Morningside. I decided to do some color tests of my next two characters for my NaNoWriMo, Detective Rutherford Smith and Officer Romeo Peters. These two have been bouncing around in my head for a while now, and it feels good to get them out on paper in both writing and sketches. This was the initial color test, done with the Sharpies I had on hand.
