The Mocha Pot
pca 104 My Brother-in-law came back from living in Italy singing the praises of this little contraption and insisted that I own one as soon as possible. In the end I think he bought this one. The mocha pot works by using heat to pressurize water in the lower chamber and send it up through the fine ground coffee and into the upper chamber. The mocha pot is fun on occasion but it mainly hides in the bottom of my pantry behind about eight pounds of flour. WIT I dug around behind the sugar then moved on to the flour till i located the mocha pot. I set up several shots including the espresso cups i also never use, and took a few where i posed the pot in front of my Kitchen Aid screw drive burr coffee mill (my pride and joy) in order to juxtapose the rarely used mocha pot along side a kitchen workhorse, but this shot is the only one that caught my eye.
