What a great relaxing day! We slept in, enjoyed homemade banana walnut bread and strong coffee for breakfast, went and did some stock up shopping at Trader Joe's then stopped for a midday Mexican lunch. We came home, I ran the dishwasher, looked over some homework handouts, and LT took a nice snooze in his comfy chair! It's been a quiet but lovely afternoon. The house is warm and smells "homey." I've had a pot roast for LT in the crock pot since this morning. I love relaxing weekends like this one. This Week's Yays *The kids and I got 2 snow days from school! *We spent lots of time drinking hot cocoa, playing games & being cozy in our PJ's. *Foot rubs from the hubs! *My 5 mile run on Tuesday. *Friday night date - shopping for our living room picnic (wine, french bread, cheese, fruit, chocolate!) we're having on Sunday, bowling 2 games while drinking cheap beer, then ending the evening with warm lattes and the evening paper. *big smile* *3-day weekend!
