Dishwasher water supply hose - Kitchenaid whisper quiet dishwasher - Top of the line dishwasher. Dishwasher Water Supply Hose
{75:365} New. Not that I counted or anything, but it's been 8 years and four months since we moved into this house. For about the last 8 years and two months the tile at the edge of one countertop was broken, because the hicks who owned the house before us TILED THE DISHWASHER IN (and, we discovered, used garden hose to hook up the dishwasher to the water supply, good god). When Dan removed the old dishwasher, he had to break the tile overhang. Eight years ago. Well, we got a new dishwasher last month and now that we know we won't be remodeling this kitchen any time soon, last weekend, he replaced the old, broken tiles with these new ones tiles we found at Lowe's about a year ago. I did tease him about how long it took to replace, but that made him feel bad. Sorry, honey; I really am grateful you got it done, and it looks terrific! "FloodSafe" dishwasher water supply hose
Since the hoses from the dishwasher (both are measured to be 55" long) are not long enough to reach the sink, I needed to buy more hoses to complete the connection. If you are going to DIY your installation you can consider a number of alternatives for supply hoses. I just found this pre-made supply hose at Home Depot. They have braided stainless steel for outside, and flexible rubber hoses for the inside. I think they are rated for hot water connection too. The special thing about this one is that it has a valve that will shut off water if it detected a major leak -- meaning an absurd flow rate continuously. Just an extra protection for my DIY job. ha ha ha.
