John Deere (February 7, 1804 - May 17, 1886) was an American blacksmith and manufacturer who founded Deere & Company, one of the largest agricultural and construction equipment manufacturers in the world.

A heat exchanger for cooling oil. Most automatic transmissions are equipped with an oil cooler that's located inside the radiator. Since the radiator usually runs close to 200 degrees, the amount of "cooling" this kind of setup provides is questionable.

This looks like a small Radiator used to cool off the engine oil or the Automatic transmission fluid. As air passes through the cooler, the temperature of the oil in the cooler is reduced. Some units reduce the temperature of the manual Gearbox and Differential lubricants in racing cars.

John Deere 4620 "Turbo-built" 1/16th diecast metal by Ertl

The 4620 was one of the two (4520) introduced mid 60's with engines designed for turbochargers. Deere engin eers thought the add-on turbo kits many farmers were converting on 4020s were hurting the reliability of their diesel engines. So Waterloo's solution was to give-em-what they wanted". The turbo-built diesel had piston skirt oil spray, new designed hat-type piston-top-relief, special compression ring that sealed better with higher pressure, more oil control rings, and higher cooling system capacity.

Allis 620 / 720

620 Allis with 1957 Angilia English Ford 101E flat head water cooled engine driving the rear PTO and Hydrostat Transmission, fuel consumption compared to the ONAN air cooled under full load is 3/4 to 1 gal and hour VS. 3 gallons for the Onan. I used the onan carb, built an adapter. Being English there is always an oil spot on the floor so you know where to park it. Both engines are about 50 Cu In.
