Cooper River Bridge Run 2006 4 This was an awesome experience. Running over the Cooper River Bridge was really cool and there were over 30,000 participants running that day, making this my first large race experience. I ran this 10k in 55:14 chip time, beating my first 10k time by over 3 mins. Cooper's Hawk (Accipiter cooperii) AKA "Coop"
05 December 10 Like many others, I am so used to seeing this species buzzing over/at our hawk watch. This was a very cool, up close experience.....I'm glad I tolerated the winds/cold, as this was my payoff for the day.
